Surviving Corporate America Office Syndrome

The CAOS: The Corporate America Office Syndrome.

MCS protocol: Massage, Chiropractic, and dynamic Stretching.

The CAOS comes from a sedentary work lifestyle, like working at a computer for hours at a time creating a number of musculoskeletal issues that can build causing chronic issues. Pain, tenderness, numbness, tingling, headaches, neck pain, mid back pain, low back/hip pain etc are some signs and symptoms common for this syndrome. The MCS protocol has been created with much success to combat The CAOS.

MASSAGE: this deals with the soft tissue/muscle by increasing circulation allowing blood flow to bring in healing agents and take toxins away. Releasing of adhesions b/t the muscle fibers (think cobwebs and their stickiness), trigger points are addressed, muscle spams are found. This is a focused massage concentrating on the problem areas known for The CAOS.

CHIROPRACTIC: The Spine is addressed. Now your being treated structurally, like getting your car aligned. Finding symptomatic misalignments (your signs and symptoms) or asymptomatic (the Chiropractor finds them) is crucial. Spinal bones move out of normal alignment and interrupt your normal nerve flow. These are called misalignments. It’s important to know that misalignments can be silent or asymptomatic causing problems long before symptoms occur. As a Chiropractor, I find these misalignments and perform Chiropractic adjustments to help reestablish or restore a return of normal nerve flow.

DYNAMIC STRETCHING: The doctor and patient participate in partner stretching. The doctor is facilitating the stretches to a target level tension however only to a measured scale of intensity for the patient. For example, on a scale of 1-10 a (5) would be ideal patient tension target throughout this session. These stretches are tailored specifically to the needs of the patient and the stage the patient is in w/in The CAOS. The purpose is to increase joint stability, flexibility, and mobility. The patient is also given a home and work stretching program to expedite recovery.

At RC Chiropractic & Personal Injury Centers the MCS Protocol has proven to be, “the best kept secret” recipe needed to combat and control The CAOS. Patient compliance is of the utmost importance to maximize treatment benefits. In the past 3 years we have noticed a 67% reduction in signs and symptoms from The CAOS from patients who are consistent with their care.
